Late snack… fruity and chocolatey…

Today, we went to church. I had many things to thank the Lord for and had many to ask for. It rained less in our area today. After hearing mass, we went to the grocery to buy a few stuff and chocolate, of course…  We also dropped by the market to buy some fruits. Then we decided to eat, foodtrip. The place was named Nicole’s Pares. We ordered pork sisig, chopsuey, barbeque, soup. We had ourselves mighty stuffed. Yum!

 

It was a friday night and we decided to get together and celebrate a friends promotion and catch up on everyone. It’s been a while since we did this, well not really a long while. We had fun, of course. And did none of what was planned, hehe. We ate, talked, teased each other and chatted with our friends, one who’s in Texas and another one in Brazil. Another good laugh… sweet…

Rain rain rain… It’s a stormy weekend, nothing much to do. Good thing we still had electricity but we did have a power outage within our area but it didn’t last long. Been watching the news and it was not good. I tried to call and text my family and friends to check if they’re ok. I still am waiting for some responses. Phone lines are bad, and it’s hard to connect. Hope everyone’s ok… take care…

i miss… when will we be together… where is  that chance? hate waiting this long… but here i am, still…

We ended FY09 on the top! I have mentioned many times before that it was a very challenging year and this was just a sweet treat. This was one of many rewards that I am proud of. I can say that my team had done very well and it was well deserved. Cheers!

Finally, we had some activity for the CI team building. This was the first for the FY10. I made sure that we just spent the budget for eating, hehe. I invited another team to join us. It was Jun’s first time to bowl and I was glad to hear that he enjoyed it. We had snacks during the game. After bowling, we had a late dinner at Gerry’s. I took a picture of this baked tahong which we found a bit funny…

I decided to join my friends for a joyride yesterday. We went to moa to check out the sale. Fun. Been a while since I last hanged out with them. We had ourselves mighty stuffed at Friday’s. Tortilla crusted fish was yummy and of course I had my favorite mozzarella sticks. We also went to this small grill place called “Countryside”. They said they serve really good barbeque. I tried and it had me bought five more sticks, haha. I shared it with my family, ok?!

I was back with my guitar today, playing songs that I remember and some new ones. Felt good to play and sing once in a while.

I thought of finally granting Tina her request. I decided to buy a crib for her baby. She’s due on October and we’re excited. Good thing that most items are on sale today. Funny that we ended up buying the crib in hypermart, not in the department store. There were really nice ones but they were expensive. After buying the crib, we went around the annex. I was thrilled to see really nice places to eat Teriyaki Boy, Sbarro, My Thai, Pepper Steak, Mexicali, Krispy Kreme, Green Mango, etc. And so I tried the frozen yogurt from Green Mango and my favorite, original glazed donut from Krispy Kreme… Yum! 

Been a while since my friend and I last talked, and so we did. We talked about work, love, life and anything funny. A good laugh… Just what I needed.
